PSXITARCH - Install Linux on PS4 (Pro) (5.05)

Installing Linux

  1. Place the initramfs.cpio.gz, bzImage and psxita.tar.xz files on the root of your USB storage device
  2. Insert the USB storage device into your PS4
  3. Connect your mouse and keyboard to the PS4 via USB
  4. Go to [Settings] -> [User’s Guide / Helpful Info] -> [User’s Guide] to launch the webtool exploit list
  5. Select [5.05] -> [Linux Loader]
  6. Wait for the PS4 to reboot, a long list of output will be displayed and the final line will read rescueshell / #
  7. Type exec install-psxitarch.sh  and press Enter to begin the Linux installation
