EdiZon - Import / Export Switch Game Save Files
EdiZon is a cheats and save manager homebrew application for Nintendo Switch. This guide will show you how to use EdiZon to backup save files on your Nintendo Switch to SD and also import save files from SD.
Required Downloads:
Nintendo Switch with Custom Firmware
- The EdiZon homebrew application requires a hacked switch with CFW such as Atmosphere
- You cannot run homebrew applications with unhacked or stock Switch consoles
- This guide assumes you have all the basic requirements to enter RCM and boot into CFW
Installing EdiZon
Transfer files to your Switch over Wi-Fi with FTPD. No need to remove SD card or enter RCM.
- Go to the
/switch/
folder on your SD card - Create a folder called
EdiZon
inside the/switch/
folder - Copy
EdiZon.nro
to the/EdiZon/
folder
Backup Save Files
- Launch EdiZon from the Homebrew Menu
- Select the game you wish to export from
- Press [X] to backup the save and name the backup
- The game save will be backed up to the
/switch/EdiZon/saves/[TITLE ID]
folder
Import Save Files
- Go to
/switch/EdiZon/saves/
on your SD card - Create a folder named after the Title ID of the game you wish to import toThe Title ID’s for all games can be found on the tinfoil.io website
- Copy the backup save folder to the game’s Title ID folder
- Insert your SD card into your Switch and push your preferred payload to boot into CFW
- Launch EdiZon from the Homebrew Menu
- Select the game you wish to restore the save file of
- Press [Y] to select the save backup you wish to restore from
- Once complete, launch your game to see the new save loaded
